"I love this place, because you can come in and not worry about anyone talking to you."
That's a quote from one man at the Quick Red Fox Lounge, who sat by himself at the bar. One night we were bored, and Bukks down the street was charging a cover, we decided to go to the place that had a neon sign that read "BAR."
Inside it's empty, filled only with the signs of a once happening bar scene. The decor had not been updated since 1968, and you almost expect to find taxedermy on each table. Blood red booths, stained glass lighting fixtures, and 5 dollar pitchers are the norm, but it's Cash only. Behind the bar is a deli slicer. Free popcorn, but you have to get it yourself.
Oh, and there's a man who sells purses near the womans bathroom.
To find this place, just looks for the parking lot full of old Jaquars with flat tires. Don't ask why they are there, no one knows. |
